Green Laser Machine

is it ok to stare at the green laser that comes out of the copy machines?
I accidentally stared at it today because I forgot to close the lid and I am worried that it might have damaged my sight
Nope, it's not a laser, it's just a green lamp (light bulb for the non technical). It does you no more harm than looking at a party light bulb
Which is to say, absolutely none.
Even if it WAS a laser, it would have hurt if you'd harmed anything!

My 200mw 4-way red & green laser machine without smoke
any good alternaties to fog machines?
alright so im living in a suite at college, and me and my room mates just bought a sick green laser projector for our common room. besides the designs it makes on the walls, we want a way to make the laser beams visible in the open air of the room. we saw it used with a fog machine, which made it look insane, but we can't have a fog machine due to the smell they tend to make and also because fog machines rip smoke detectors. any ideas for an alternative? I was thinking things like dry ice, but that would eventually be too expensive and we dont have a freezer to keep it in. dry ice is also low lying which wouldn't really help. are there any dj's of effects specialists out there who have dealt with this before?
how the hell is this related to swimming and or diving...
