How to clean drum unit from laser printer?
The selenium green drum unit in my laser printer is dirty from a label which got lodged onto it. Is it possible to clean it with some kind of solution or cleanser or alcohol?

It depends on what quality you want to end up with. If you have to buy another one, why not give it a shot. Do NOT touch the drum with your fingers, the oil from your skin is bad for the surface material , try and remove as much as possible, gently with a neeedle-nose pliers, then you might try to clean the drum with 90 percent or higher rubbing alcohol and a q-tip. I doubt you will get it completely perfect but the printer might well print just fine for normal things if you don't mind a little mark or 2 on the page. Also try not to get alcohol into the ink storage so you might want to work with it up in the air.

High power green laser pointer - Viper 75mW green laser
Can 240 volt imported motion laser light show unit be converted to 9 volt battery?
This imported laser light unit is a single phase and rated as 200 - 250V, 50/60 Hz 10 w. The small 1.5" x1.5" 250V primary transformer has 9 volt secondary that connects to small circuit board labeled as 9 volts which houses and controls the motors and lasers completely.
Can I successfully convert this laser light show unit to a 9 volt dc battery without any harm to the lasers (red is 50 mW and Green is 100mW), motors or the circuit board? As of right now it is working with a 120V to 250V step-up transformer.
The 9 volts out of the transformer will be AC. Using a 9 volt battery will depend on whether the circuit immediately rectifies the AC and filters it to DC. If it does, you should be able to run it from a 9 VDC source. If the circuit uses 9 VAC, say for the motors, then you'd be out of luck. If it only takes DC you're OK. However, I don't think a 9 volt battery would last very long but it might run it for a few minutes. You could build a higher capacity 9 volt source by putting six 1.5 volt AA, C, or D batteries into a holder.
