Drive Power Assembly
Engine Vibration at 2500rpms, but only when in gear..?
92 Ford Explorer, manuel. Apx 2mos ago had to drop tranny to replace slave cylinder and clutch assembly. Started feeling slight vibration right away. Now, super bad, engine light coming on and feels like I lose power while driving occasionally. replaced tires and water pump as mechanic suggested, but still doing it. It only does this in gear. If I'm going 65 and put it in neutral, smooth ride. WTF? I can't drive around in 1st all day long! anyone know what this might be cuz mechanic is not helping at all. Thanks!
it is a 4x4 and the vibration feels more in the front center than in the steering wheel, no wobbling at least. Also, slight loss of power, but still gets up to 65 no prob.
Many things can cause a vibration. the best way to tell what your vibration is, it to cut it in half. Is it in the front or the rear. Typically a front end vibration will cause your steering wheel to wobble back and forth. Also, is your explorer 4x4? if the vibration is worse on acceleration and you dont have 4x4, sounds like a bad driveshaft or driveshaft center support. If it has 4x4, your driveshaft does not have a center support. You need to make sure they tightened everything back up. Im talking about transmission bell housing bolts, transmission to crossmember mount bolts, and even the transfer case to transmission bolts.

Visumatic Automatic Assembly System Drive Large Part
Assembling a PC from a collection of parts....?
Over the years of bought components to assemble my own PC (Motherboard, power supply, hard drives, memory, video card, sound card... on down the line....) I have the case and the components, but over the years I've misplaced the installation instructions for the various parts. Is there a basic (generic) assembly chart somewhere on the net that will show me where each part should go?
