Dioder Lighting Strips
Question for anyone with the IKEA dioder lighting strips?
Can you change the color of them individually? I.E, Make one one color another a different color, etc? What I am trying to do is put one that gradually fades colors behind my computer monitor, one that is always red behind my PS3, one that is always green behind my 360, and one that is always blue behind my Wii. If you cant change them individually, how else could I accomplish this?
I dont have the above mentioned lighting strip but looking at the Ikea spec it says the multicolour version has 7 colour options and as far as I am aware the most you can get in each led is 3 so at some stage they are not all going to be lit. To get a match in separate strips it would appear that you would need to dismantle and rebuild every strip so it may be better to either get the white ones and colour them yourself or obtain separate strips of the required colours elsewhere(have a look on E Bay under led lights)
