Diode Wave Shaping Circuit
In full-wave rectifier, What is effect on the output wave shape in a full-wave rectifier if....?
a. one of the diodes is open circuited ( disconnected ) from the circuit .
b. one of the diodes is short circuited . please justify your answer ,
if one diode gets open, half wave rectification will only be possible....
if one diode gets shorted, t/f will burn out....

Do you mean you put a short across the diode?
then the output is the same as the input, presumably a sine wave.
OR do you mean the output is short circuited, that is, the diode drives a short?
in that case the diode goes up in smoke, and maybe a fuse blows.
