Does a 96 Camry's alternator run off of the cars computer and if malfunctioning not charge the battery?
Alternator tested good in the three test areas: diode, regulator, and rectifier. The battery also tested good, but it has the dash battery light on and the car eventually dies from using up all the battery power, b/c the alternator is not charging the battery during operation. Is the alternator only working some of the time (during the auto parts store test)? Is it a bad wire? Is it the car's computer?
sounds like bad wiring or a fuse-able link that has gone bad.....check ur batt cable ends and make sure tehy r in good condition and tight....also a bad starter can also b the culprit(not often but possible)
aslo have u checked the belt/belt tensioner??? cas a loose belt will also cause this problem.....but it shud b making noise(squealing) if this is the problem....good luck...if u check this and still have problem... post again

Where is the laser diode in a dvd burner located?
This is my macbook dvd burner. I wanna remove the diode since the laptop is parted out. Here is a picture of it opened up. Im good with descriptions, so dont worry if you feel you might sound confusing trying to point the area out haha. Thanks!!

Just so i dont look like too stupid, i know where the laser eye is, i just always screw up the whole thing when trying to get to the actual diode. I dont wanna waste this one if i mess up.
Is there seriously a market for junked Mac parts? Lemme know, because I have a damaged Macbook Air drive that I'd be interested in getting some cash for!
