where can i get a part 1004 diode?
I have been looking online for one and i cant seem to figure out what it is
The diode was mislabeled in the schematic from your first question. It should have been 1N4001.
If you still need it, run your search again with the new part number. Radio shack should have them.

Where is the DRL module located in a 96 Tahoe?
whats the name of the part drl diode because I check fuse number 15 on the left side of the dashboard also check the fused under the hood even changed the relay above the brake pedal but I still have not check ths diode is it expensive let me know the part number or name please my drl still dont work thanks
If I recall correctly there is a switch that activates the DRL's when your emergency brake pedal is all the way released. Sometimes this pedal or the switch can stick and your DRL's wont work. Make sure your emergency pedal is fully released and pull upwards on it, then check to see if the switch is working correctly and lets us know how you made out.
