Diode Isolate Wires

i have a question about a wiring for a car?
i am tring to fit a set of hid low and high beam on a 2002 jetta the hi / lo is a motor that rises a deflector and thats the hi you remove the currrent and the deflector lowersand thats the lo , heres the trouble evrithing works as suposed but when i put the hi the motors go on and lowers the deflector , but they dont come back when i put the lamps on low .the line keep energized and the relay that controls them keeps open , when i test them with the ligths off and only pull the hi lever to checkthem out they work just fine i tried to diode isolate them and they keep doing the same
I think U are saying "when i test them with the ligths off and only pull the hi lever to checkthem out they work just fine"
this is a mechanical test right?
IF U are talking the line TO the relay, then something in the switching or wiring before the relay is wrong. U should be able to check this by removing switched line to relay.
"the line keep energized and the relay that controls them keeps open"

i need help with a relay wiring?

First off if both are being powered as one you don't need a blocking diode. If you choose to leave the diode in place make certain that the line is towards the feed and not facing the relay, As in the diagram at the following link.

Relays are simple switches., On a standard bosh style 30 amp (SPDT) Single Pole Double Throw relay, you'll notice 5 posts.
The field coils for a relay are 85 & 86 , therefore you need a switched continuity to one and and afixed opposite polarity on the other.
Whatever goes into post 30 comes out post 87 when relay is activated. The relay rests at the center post which is 87a.
As another poster said, If you are hooking up a reverse polarity, then 2 relays are in order.
Here are 2 links to help you understand relays better.
