Diode Glass
Cant identify this diode?
I have several small diodes here that I'm trying to identify (I may need more of them). The ones in my possession were pulled out of a 20 year old guitar amp. Their enclosure is made of glass (they look like this http://www.6v6.co.uk/cp/ProdImages/SEM-DIODE.jpg). Their voltage drop is approximately 0.73v, and the only thing printed on them is T48 (or perhaps 48T... or any order, the letters wrap around the diodes body and there are no spaces to identify the beginning/end). Any ideas?

There are no color bands on my diode, just the text that I gave and a black band to indicate the cathode.
Whatever they originally were, 1N4148s should work fine as a replacement.
The T48 is probably just the manufacturing batch number. The "4148" is usually marked by color bands with the resistor color code, yellow brown yellow grey. The yellow and grey can be quite hard to see and the paint rubs off the glass body easily, so they may apparently just have one dark colored band on them (plus the black tip showing the polarity, of course)
