Diode Clamper
About electronics and would appreciate a good answer?
In electronics, for a simple clamper circuit, can we do away with the capacitor and instead we measure the output voltage across the diode which is also the voltage across the original input source plus a DC source?
Please also explain.
You need to review what a clamp circuit does and how it works.
The basic idea is that you remove any existing d.c. level from the signal using the capacitor, and then impose a d.c. level of your choice using a diode and an external voltage source.
