Convex Laser

Thank you guys for helping me out on the first questions but i need a few more please?!?!?!?
A convex mirror makes a good rear-view mirror for a car because
it forms erect, reduced images.
it does not form diminished images
its images can be thrown on a screen.

14: What characteristic of light affects lenses the most?
The speed of light is faster than sound
Light refracts when passing through glass
Light is translucent in glass lenses
15: What is the most common color of laser light?

Convex Body $71.7 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles In mathematics, a convex body in ndimensional Euclidean space Rn is a compact convex set with nonempty interior. A convex body K is called symmetric if it is centrally symmetric with respect to the origin, i.e. a point x lies in K if and only if its antipode, x, also lies in K. Symmetric convex bodies are in a onetoone correspondence with the unit balls of norms on Rn. Important examples of convex bodies are the Euclidean ball, the hypercube and the crosspolytope. Convex Set $71.7 In Euclidean space, an object is convex if for every pair of points within the object, every point on the straight line segment that joins them is also within the object. For example, a solid cube is convex, but anything that is hollow or has a dent in it, for example, a crescent shape, is not convex. The convex subsets of R (the set of real numbers) are simply the intervals of R. Some examples of convex subsets of Euclidean 2space are regular polygons and bodies of constant width. Some examples of convex subsets of Euclidean 3space are the Archimedean solids and the Platonic solids. The KeplerPoinsot polyhedra are examples of nonconvex sets. Convex Polytope $68.51 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles A convex polytope is a special case of a polytope, having the additional property that it is also a convex set of points in the ndimensional space Rn. Some authors use the terms convex polytope and convex polyhedron interchangeably, while others prefer to draw a distinction between the notions of a polyhedron and a polytope. In addition, some texts require a polytope to be a bounded set, while others (including this article) allow polytopes to be unbounded. The terms bounded/unbounded convex polytope will be used below whenever the boundedness is critical to the discussed issue. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Timpledon, Miriam T./ Marseken, Susan F. Convex Polyhedra $269.24 This classic geometry text explores the theory of 3dimensional convex polyhedra in a unique fashion, with exceptional detail. Vital and clearly written, the book includes the basics of convex polyhedra and collects the most general existence theorems for convex polyhedra that are proved by a new and unified method. This edition includes a comprehensive bibliography by V.A. Zalgaller, and related papers as supplements to the original text. Author: Alexandrov, A. D./ Dairbekov, N. S./ Kutateladze, S. S. green laser pointer pointing on convex lens
Question about science project?
I think I might want to have three glass balls to represent eyes. One spherical, one oblong, one short and squished. I'd shine two lasers through the spherical glass ball, demonstrating how the lasers converge perfectly at the back of the eye. Then i'd shine two lasers at the exact same angle and distance from the oblong "eye" to show how the lasers converge in the middle of the eye, representing far-sightedness.
I'd do the same with the squished "eye", showing how the laser light converges to far behind the glass ball, representing near-sightedness.
I have concave and convex lenses that you could place in front of the glass balls to see which one corrects which vision. Then there would be an explanation and what-not. It sounds pretty good to me, but I wonder,
Will the glass balls actually refract the laser light? I'm positive they will but my dad is doubtful
You will need to place a piece of white paper behind the glass balls. Keep it the same distance from each ball. It will refract the light better, and show a clearer image. It would work better, if you could darken the area around the glass balls. Try to place the balls in a tube, or box, with just the front of the glass ball showing. Cut the back out of the box, and place the white paper over the hole. Kind of like a movie screen. You will be able to see the laser light shining on the paper, from the back side. Good luck.
