I can program cnc lasers,turrents and press brakes?
Can I also program cnc injection molders? The problem I am having is it's all self taught. How can I convince my employer to let me in skilled trades without the "PAPERWORK"? Schooling is not an option and I'm up against several who have the schoo;ing, but not the experience. This is a UAW shop without apprenticeship programs.
You might try to get a short probation period (like a week) where you work for free, with the condition that if he likes your work - you get the job. If you get the job you WILL have to join the union (if you're not already) and pay an initiation fee and monthly dues.
