Capacitor Gas
Capacitor Gas
Will I need a capacitor or stronger battery if I put a sound system in my accord?

I have a kicker kx500.2 amp and 10inch kicker L7 I need installed my 2009 Honda accord. They guy said along with the 4 guage wire install to hook it up I should get a capacitor or new battery because the accord isn't made for big systems even though it's one sub. He said like summer time when ac is on and and music bumping battery will struggle. I thought ac is used by gas either way. So is he talking bs or is it really necssary to get a new battery or capacitor? This is for a 2009 Honda accord

Maybe upgrade the battery but as far as a cap no way. Most vehicle alternators can handle up to 1200w rms with little or no modification to the stock electrical system.

Capacitor Plague

Capacitor Plague

$81.25

The capacitor plague (also known as bad capacitors) involved the common premature failure of certain brands of electrolytic capacitors used in various electronics equipment, and particularly in motherboards, video cards, compact fluorescent lamp ballasts, LCD monitors, and power supplies of personal computers. The first flawed capacitors were seen in 1999, but most of the affected capacitors were made in the early to mid 2000s, and while news of their failures (usually after a few years of use) has forced most manufacturers to fix the defects, some bad capacitors were still being sold or integrated into designs as of early 2007.An incorrect electrolyte formula within a faulty capacitor causes the production of hydrogen gas, leading to bulging or deformation of the capacitors case, and eventual venting of the electrolyte. In rare cases, faulty capacitors have even been reported to pop or explode forcefully. Capacitor Discharge water cracking

Gas furnace blowing cool air out.?

I live in a high rise condo and recently my gas furnace isn't blowing hot air. I had a capacitor replaced last year because it was blowing cool air. That seemed to work until few weeks ago. Could this be a bad capacitor again?

Capacitor for what? The blower motor capacitor failure would likely cause the blower not to blow air. It's needed to start the motor.
Possibly a capacitor for the combustion motor if it has one.
Probably something else tho.
Depends on what controls your furnace has and what exactly it does or doesn't do during the call for heat.
