If a photon is detected or not detected by a detector after it goes through a beam splitter will give you different results on a screen, do you not need more than one photon to "do" the experiment?
If so, your are not really measuring the "original" photon that went through the splitter right?
One photon will not give you a diffraction pattern. You need multiple photons for that. So are you really the effect of the same photon when the delayed choice experiment is done?
Am I making sense, or do I just not understand the principle?
part of the idea behind it is that it shows that light can be a wave and a particle, it does this because if only one photon goes through but you get two lines then it would be impossible for it to be a particle(however other evidence suggests it is so for now it's both)
You've already been captivated by Khet, the innovative laser-beam strategy game. Now you can add a whole new dimension to the game with the Eye of Horus Beam Splitter expansion pack. It contains two beam-spliting game pieces, one silver and one red, that have a semi-transparent mirrored coating, which reflects half the light that hits it and transmits the other half. An incoming laser beam gets split in two! With both game pieces in play, a beam can be split twice -- once by one piece and then again by the other piece -- blasting three beams around the board with one push of your laser button! Suddenly there are more ways to zap your opponent's pharaoh, but more ways for him to zap yours too -- so watch out! Each expansion pack comes with a full-color booklet including brand new starting setups and an explanation of the science of beam-splitting. High-tech strategy doubles with a single blink of the Eye of Horus -- as does your fun!
After you have begun to master the game with one laser, can you up the ante and handle three? The Eye of Horus beamsplitter piece splits one laser beam into two when hit by reflecting half of the beam and transmitting the other half right through for twice the strategy and excitement! With both pieces in play, the beam can be split twice blasting three lasers around the field with one push of the button! Each expansion pack includes two Eye of Horus Beamsplitter pieces, one silver and one red, and a full color booklet including brand new starting setups and science explanations.

Khet, The Laser Game, is played on an 80-square grid with a pharaoh and obelisk playing king and pawn, sort of, plus a mirrored pyramid and a wandering "djed," and it's chess-like, except for the lasers firing from the corners and bouncing off the mirrors
Have you mastered the game of Khet? Add another dimension of difficulty with this expansion kit. The Eye or Horus beamsplitter diverts one laser beam into two when hit. By reflecting half of the beam and transmitting the other half right through, this piece adds additional challenge to the game, forcing you to revise and refine your strategy...

Where to buy Optical Beam Splitter Glass?
I'm looking to buy a flat piece (about 12" by 8") of Optical Beam Splitter Glass online somewhere. What is the best site to get it at a good price with high quality service/material?
a beamsplitter is usually determined by the coating applied to the blank. the coating determines the reflectance/ transmittance of the beam. the blank thickness also creates refraction which is detrimental for alignment. a coated pelical for your wavelength will make a better beamsplitter as it's thickness is only about.00005
for glass try Melles Griot
