Beam Kit

Can i install a HID kit without blinding traffic?
I'm considering installing a HID kit, but i don't want to blind traffic.
Is there any fix for that except buying a new DOT approved headlight.
Does the bi-xenon kit fix this issue?
I have a 2008 Ford Focus and it only has 1 bulb for both high/low beam
Thank you
I'm sure they sell double filament hid it's but unfortunatley you will still be blinding traffic unless your headlight has projectors in the headlight if you don't you could try aiming the headlight beam down a bit evey car has an adjustment for headlights try that and goodluck

Airkewld Ultimate 4" Narrowed Beam Air Ride Kit
why is my HID bulb should be in high beam?
Ok so i own a 2000 grand prix GTP, and i installed a 12000k HID kit( low beam) unto it, with the correct installation and wiring. The problem is i always have switch my hi-beam to turn on the light, but if i switch it to low beam then it turns off. I know this doesnt matter since all HID bulbs only has low beam, except if you buy a separate high beam bulb, which wouldn't apply to my car since both low and high beams are in the same bulb. I was just wondering if anyone know what i can to fix it.
Another problem is that the driver side headlight wont turn on until i start the engine and let it run for like 2-3 minutes before it lights up, which is very frustrating, i dont know if this is a problem with the battery or something............?
thanks if you have answered my question.
It sounds to me the quality of your HID kit is substandard. There are big differences in the quality of HID kits on the market. Unfortunately, there are many people who are just here to make a quick buck. Hence they use substandard quality materials to make the kits. The most important part of the kit is the ballast. It's the heart of the system. It's also very complex device. Not only would the performance of the HID kit be affected by substandard ballasts. It could also be dangerous. It's true with the saying "You pay for what you get". I advice you to remove the HID kit from your car ASAP to prevent any irreversible and costly damage to your car.

With the low beam problem, it sounds like the wire is connected incorrectly if both of the lights don't light up. It is unlikely that both lights have the same fault.
