Base Lens
My contact lens base curve is 8.6, but these are 8.7. Can I buy the 8.7 instead?
I want to buy the Natural Touch Baby Blue contact lens, but they only have base curves 8.7 & 8.4. My base curve is 8.6. Is it okay if I just buy the 8.7 one? will it cause any eye damage??
I think in contacts.. if you normally have 8.6, 8.7 would be bigger, and 8.4 would be smaller. I can't see getting 8.7 base curve causing anything cause its a small difference in measurements, but again I'm not sure. If you do end up getting them, and they hurt, I'd stop, othewise your good to go =]

can i wear contact lens of bigger base curve?
normally i wear 1 day acuvue with base curve 8.5 but this time my optician gave me acuvue oasis with base curve 8.8 is it ok?
Best way to find out is to try it. If it slides around too much, it isn't right.
The 1 day aren't really 8.5 anyway, that is just a marketing thing to keep them separate from the other brands .
They are 8.6...base curves fit 1/10 either side...so 8.6 is the same as 8.5 or 8.7...and 8.8 is the same as 8.7
So, they are almost identical as far as curvature goes , but other factors affect the fit even more than the curve.
You will know if they fit once you have tried them, don't worry about the numbers.
