How can I fix the audio lag on my 360 when I use a digital optical cable?
Whenever I use my digital optical cable for surround sound on my 360, I get about a half second delay on it. There are no options to fix this lag on the 360 itself, or on Call of Duty 4 or any other games (except music games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero). What can I do to fix this? I don't think there are any options on the surround sound system either.
hook up 360 straight to tv then audio to receiver.
the delay is diference in the time it takes your tv to process video compared to the time it takes the audio to process on the 360.
some receivers have a sync delay option and all tv dont have optical outputs to connect to receiver
