Mazda 3 lock assembly actuator and key less question?
I have a mazda 3 base model that I am upgrading to power locks and windows with a key less entry. I have gathered all the parts I need to make the conversion however, I am confused on the front driver and passenger door lock assembly actuators. The oem parts website has two different kinds. One with key ess and one without key less. What I would like to know is if I need to purchase the key less entry one in order for a key less remote to work on it. SMA actuator model animation
96 chev z71 4x4 not working?
I have a 1996 z71 with a 6.5 turbo diesel and its an automatic.The 4x4 is not working. It is a push button model. I put a new actuator on it..and it doesn't make any difference. I was told that I can wire this actuator directly to the battery run 2 wires into Switch in cab and I will have 4x4 then. Has anyone ever done this or can it be done?
well if you can get all the wheels off the ground you can narrow it down........one actuator engages the transfer case.....and 1 actuator engages the front axle......so if the drive shaft to the front diff is turning your problem is after that point. if the shaft going to the front diff is not turning you have a sensor or switch problem or the t-case took a dump. Good luck PS do not wire your actuator like that.....it probably will not fix anything and you will run into issuse with the 4hi/ 4low....fix it correctly
