How to Trigger SCRs in a Full wave AC/DC rectifier?
I have a Full wave rectifier using 2 SCRs and 2 diodes to rectify AC to DC with adjustable voltage. My problem is I do not know how to trigger the SCRs. Does anyone have a circuit they like?

Where they advocate using a resistor and diode to trigger the SCR however I don't think it would work for me because my SCR:
States on page 2 that the triggering pulse must be less than 1ms. So if I trigger them early in the cycle to say get 90% voltage my triggering pulse could be well north of 6 ms. Or am I thinking of this wrong?

Yes, and not only can we apply, but DO apply. But the difference between a resistor and a diode in that respect is the fact that a diode is a non-linear voltage-controlled resistor, and a resistor is a linear... well, um, resistor. That is unless it's a special type of resistor, like a thermistor whose resistance varies significantly with temperature. But I digress...
You can and do consider diodes as ohmic in some cases of design, and in pretty much all cases you do at least allow for their voltage drop. But to apply V=IR to them, you must consult the diode's datasheet graph that shows its current versus voltage. From it the ohmic values are obvious.

I guess I should mention that the times we don't apply V=IR is when we are considering a diode as a "perfect" diode, as in infinite reverse resistance, zero forward resistance, for the sake of simplicity. Even then, don't forget the 0.6V forward drop if it's significant to circuit operation.

There is a case where diodes virtually are "perfect" - in an op-amp precision rectifier. Here, a diode is in the feedback loop, and thus its effective forward voltage drop at the output of the op-amp is zero, making it virtually a perfect diode. Google "precision rectifier", lots of explanations of it.
