A laser that powerful presents a serious hazard of accidental blinding, both to yourself and to your audience. In fact at that power level it only takes a partial stray reflection and a split second (faster than eyelids can close) to cause permanent eye damage. Please be very, very careful.

Why cant MLB shoot a laser shooting through the strikezone, down the foul line and over the foul pole to determine the play. The ball would have a hologram or chip that would communicate with the laser and if the ball is fair, the laser would go off! Should there also be something installed to determine whether a play is safe or out. There are a whole lot of bad calls made by the umpires. Would this make the games more accurate and fair?
